105 years of tradition written in time

In 2026, Raków Częstochowa will celebrate a unique milestone – its 105th anniversary. Since 1921, players, coaches, officials, and incredible fans have been writing its history. From local beginnings, through successive sporting challenges, to the greatest successes in the modern history of the Red and Blues.

To mark this occasion, Raków Częstochowa and Balticus Watches have created a commemorative watch. It pays tribute to the Club’s unique history, highlights its current standing, but above all, symbolizes the durability and ambition with which Raków looks to the future.

The model was produced in a limited edition of 105 pieces, each with an individual number. 

Red and blue identity in a unique form.

The centerpiece of the watch is a dial in a deep, intense shade of blue. Its surface is adorned with a sunray finish that makes the dial subtly shimmer under light from changing angles.

The upper part of the dial features a reference to the Club’s crest. Its more detailed version is placed below the center axis of the hands, highlighting the watch’s connection to Raków Częstochowa.

A distinctive feature of the timepiece is the inner bezel surrounding the dial. It is scaled to 45 minutes, a direct reference to the regulation duration of one half of a football match. The bezel ring is rotating, and its setting is controlled by the crown located at two o'clock.

A watch full of symbols.

Timekeeping is handled by distinctive broad arrow hands. The shorter hour hand is vertically divided into two parts, resembling a sword blade. A keen eye will also notice the counterweight on the seconds hand: a medal symbol, which is no coincidence. Raków Częstochowa is affectionately known in the football world as "Medaliki" (The Medals). This nickname has become permanently attached to the team from Częstochowa.

Bold, applied indices emphasize the model’s sporty character while maintaining an elegance that ensures the Raków jubilee watch also fits perfectly in non-sporting circumstances. The index at twelve o’clock stands out from the rest; it consists of two elements which, when mirrored, resemble a shield.

Light that never fades

When creating this exceptional watch, we used the best possible materials. As a result, the Raków Częstochowa timepiece is stunning both by day and after dark. The indices, hands, and the inner bezel scale are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 and C3, X1 Grade, providing effective and legible readings even in low-light conditions. 

The visible heart of the watch

The watch is powered by the Japanese Miyota 9039 movement. This automatic heart of the timepiece is valued for its precision and reliability. It is worth noting that the movement is powered by the motion of the wrist, provides a 42-hour power reserve, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It is equipped with 24 jewels. Its operation can be observed through the transparent case back. The sapphire glass features a symbol of Częstochowa – the tower of the Jasna Góra Monastery. To its left are the dates of the Club's greatest sporting successes, led by the Polish Championship title.

The case back ring contains information about the number of watches produced. The model was created in a limited series of 105 pieces, each with an individual number. This detail emphasizes the collectible nature of the timepiece.

Sporty character in well-balanced proportions 

The dial and movement are housed in a case with a diameter of 42mm. The lug-to-lug distance is 48.5mm, and the case height is 11.5mm. The entire assembly is covered by sapphire glass with an internal anti-reflective coating. A hallmark of the watch is the two crowns on the right side of the case. The top one operates the inner bezel. The bottom one, located at four o'clock, is used for setting the time.

Both crowns are screw-down, which supports a water resistance rating of 200 meters. This parameter allows the watch to be used in various situations and weather conditions without concern for its condition.

The piece is complemented by a tapered stainless steel bracelet. Its multi-element construction and narrow central links give the watch a sense of lightness. The butterfly clasp provides comfort and an aesthetic finish. The Balticus logo is placed on the clasp. The Raków Częstochowa jubilee watch is made of stainless steel.
