Linda Weiszewski & Klaudia Adamek

These two incredible women are half of our women's national bobsleigh team. Soon, they will be competing at the 2021 Winter Olympics in Italy.

Linda serves as the team's pilot, while Klaudia is the pusher. Both girls are as talented as they are crazy. The Bob they ride down the ice chute can reach speeds of up to 160 km/h. The streamlined vehicle they use to descend is technologically similar to an F1 car and costs a staggering €70,000.

As Linda says, despite its incredible design, the sled is only 50% of the success. The rest depends on the athlete's talent. And our girls have plenty of that, though they have to fight against many adversities. Bobsleigh, both men's and women's, is a niche discipline. Therefore, both the team and the girls must fight hard and push each other to find their footing in the globalized world of mass sports and compete with the best.

In this story, we also found part of our journey. Balticus is a local manufacturer that doesn't have enormous resources for advertising or development, yet it successfully competes with global watch brands. What we can't buy, we make up for with diligence, commitment, and the belief that nothing is impossible.

Sharing the values we promote and the challenges we face are the main reasons we decided to invite Linda and Klaudia to join the Balticus team. They have become our ambassadors in the world of Winter Olympic sports.
