Mateusz Przystał, our lead designer for the Moonfish, was tasked with creating a "first-choice watch." Completely uncompromising, utilizing the finest materials. A timepiece that would remain a benchmark of quality in design and craftsmanship for years to come. The Moonfish became a turning point for us. Working on this project, we wanted to step outside our comfort zone and create a small masterpiece of watchmaking art.
The first challenge was to use 904L stainless steel for its construction. The Moonfish is the first watch on the market from a Polish manufacturer to use this type of material. It is significantly more resistant to corrosion. Due to its increased hardness, it is also much more demanding to process and more expensive than 316L steel, the standard material used in watch cases and bracelets.
The Moonfish watch's unidirectional bezel deserves special attention, as it's meticulously crafted. The multifaceted cuts on its crown are exceptionally refined. The result is a surface that's not only beautiful but also practical, making it easier to operate the bezel. The Moonfish is a watch that loves light. All its key elements were designed to reveal their extraordinary beauty in the sunlight.
Fans of Balticus's design cues will also appreciate the crown's design. On its top, the letter "B" is filled with Swiss Super-LumiNowa X1 luma. This easily activated substance illuminates the entire watch with a pleasant blue light. The hands, indices, and numerals on the bezel insert are filled with luma. The luminous substance used is among the world's leading and is used by the most renowned watch manufacturers. Swiss Super-LumiNowa X1 illuminates not only the watch but also the surrounding area. A characteristic feature of this substance is its durability.
The Moonfish in this configuration, with a blue dial, was produced in only 50 pieces.
Technology
The Moonfish is powered by the Miyota 9015 automatic movement. This exceptionally durable and proven design allows the watch to be wound by the movement of the wrist. The Moonfish offers a 42-hour power reserve and is mounted on 24 jewels. The watch features two complications: the date and the stop-seconds.
The watch's water resistance is a decidedly above-average 200 meters. Moonfish loves the water, performing well during everyday activities. Its 20ATM water resistance also allows it to be worn while diving or swimming. A distinctive feature of the Moonfish is its screw-down crown.
Shield
The Moonfish BLT-BTMFGRE features a gray dial with a circular cut finish. This allows all the watch's essential elements to work together, creating a composition of surfaces and planes designed to interact with light.
A date window, finished with a high-gloss bezel, is located at 3 o'clock. The minimalist design of this part of the watch is highlighted by the subtle Balticus inscription at the top, and the model name and movement type located on the opposite side of the dial.
Materials
The Moonfish is crafted using the highest quality materials. The watch case and bracelet are crafted from 904L stainless steel, guaranteeing hypoallergenic safety and enhanced corrosion resistance. This type of stainless steel, with its exceptionally polished finish, is used in the production of timepieces by the world's finest watchmakers. The bezel insert is made of steel and has a matte finish, perfectly complementing the satin-finished case sides. The Moonfish dial is protected by a flat, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a double anti-reflective coating.

When designing the Moonfish, we set an ambitious task for our designer, Mateusz Przystały: to create a completely uncompromising watch. We wanted to step out of our comfort zone and create a small work of art that will be a benchmark of quality and Polish design for years to come. The Moonfish is a turning point for us – the fruit of passion and the pursuit of perfection.
Pioneering Materials: 904L Steel
We are proud to be the first Polish manufacturer to introduce a watch made of 904L stainless steel to the market.
- Why 904L? It is significantly more corrosion-resistant and harder than standard 316L steel.

We designed this model to reveal its true face in the sunlight.
- Dial: We opted for a noble, industrial gray that emphasizes the modern and technical character of the Moonfish. A circular brushed finish gives it a metallic luster, making the light "dance" across the dial, flowing smoothly from bright steel reflections to deep graphite shadows.
- Bezel: Our proprietary design for the unidirectional bezel combines refined aesthetics with practicality. Multi-faceted cuts not only look beautiful but also ensure a secure grip.
Masterful Visibility: Super-LumiNova X1
We haven't forgotten about the details that please the eye after dark. We have used the world's leading luminous substances:
- Swiss Super-LumiNova X1: Fills the hands, indices, and bezel numerals, glowing with a soothing blue light.
- Our "signature touch": We have placed the letter "B" on the crown, which also glows in the dark. This is a detail we are particularly proud of.
Durability and Usage
Although the Moonfish looks like jewelry, it is a thoroughbred diver:
