Balticus Perun

Balticus Perun – a space story in a steel envelope

The Balticus Perun Chrono Moonphase 42 mm Limited Edition is the first "spacewatch" in the brand's collection. It was created by combining Polish watchmaking with space technology developed by SpaceForest. The edition is limited to 200 numbered pieces .

A shield made of a real meteorite

Perun's most distinctive feature is its shield, crafted from a natural meteorite. Each octahedrite fragment has a unique pattern, so no two pieces are identical . This isn't a graphic work of art—it's authentic material that came to Earth from space.

Cosmic complications and a clear layout

The dial layout was designed to maintain a balance between functionality and meteorite display.
– three central hands (time + stopwatch seconds)
– small seconds at 6 o'clock
– chronograph minute and hour counter at 10
– date stamp at index 4
– tachometer scale on the outer edge

Moon Phases – A Unique Complication

The upper part of the dial is cut away to reveal a disc representing the current lunar phase. The moon glides against a dark blue background filled with stars, creating a romantic yet technical effect. The reading is so accurate that corrections are only required after approximately 2.5 years .

Swiss ETA movement

The watch is powered by the ETA G10.962 EO quartz movement.

Offers:
– chronograph up to 11 h 59 min 59 s
– date stamp
– presentation of the moon phases
– shock resistance
– battery life up to 38 months

The mechanism is mounted on 4 jewels and is capable of operating even in zero gravity conditions.

An envelope inspired by the Gent'a design

The 42mm steel case has a shape reminiscent of luxury sports watches of the 1970s. The integrated bracelet ensures the watch fits perfectly on the wrist, even slim ones.

The bracelet has a three-row design – polished centers and brushed sides, and the whole is secured with a safety clasp bearing the Balticus logo.

Durability and everyday resistance

Perun offers water resistance of 200 m (20 ATM) thanks to the screw-down crown and caseback.

The front is equipped with sapphire glass with AR coating , and the hands filled with Super-LumiNova ensure perfect readability both during the day and at night.

Case back with Perun rocket

The full, screw-down caseback is adorned with a relief depicting the Polish Perun rocket against a backdrop of stars. The matte background and polished elements create a three-dimensional effect. Next to it is the limited edition number in the format XXX/200 .

Mythology and technology in one project

The model's name comes from the Slavic god Perun, the protector of the sky, lightning, and light. The watch symbolically combines mythology, space technology, and watchmaking craftsmanship.
