The Grey Seal in this version is the highest-end model in this series, in terms of sophistication. Previous editions were incredibly well-received, just like the excitement experienced by tourists on Polish Baltic beaches when they have the chance to see a grey seal in its natural habitat. This timepiece features a chronograph complication, highly prized by watchmaking enthusiasts. A significant change has also been made to the watch's interior. The heart of the Grey Seal Chronograph is the Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. One of the most recognized and valued automatic chronograph movements in the world, its origins date back to the 1930s. Over many years of production, the movement has been refined. Today, it stands as a symbol of quality, and its distinctive dial layout (6, 9, 12) is recognizable worldwide. 

The Grey Seal requires three instruments to manage its functions. The two outermost, beautifully finished pushers control the chronograph. Between them, a traditional crown is centrally located to manage the hands and the date display. This is also characteristic of the VJ7750 movement. Located at 3 o'clock, it is divided into two sections by a bezel. One contains the day of the week abbreviation, the other the date.

The Grey Seal Chronograph with a green gradient dial is limited to just 40 pieces. The watch dial is covered with a flat sapphire crystal . It is perfectly flush with the bezel. The same solution is used on the other side of the watch. The caseback is transparent. Its central section is filled with glass with an image of a seal. The sapphire crystal allows you to observe the mechanism in action.

The gray seal is paired with a chunky Milanese bracelet as standard. A leather strap is also included. Its striking, ribbed surface embellishes the leather and lends it a three-dimensional look.

Technology

The heart of the Grey Seal is the reliable Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. This proven design, with its excellent precision, guarantees 48 hours of uninterrupted operation. The movement is powered by the movement of your wrist, meaning there's no need to wind the watch in the traditional manner, using the crown. As befits a compressor watch, the Grey Seal is water-resistant to 100 meters.

The watch's indices and hands are filled with a luminescent substance. At dusk, it illuminates the dial with a beautiful "ice blue" color. This ensures the Grey Seal's indications are always perfectly visible.

Shield

The Grey Seal Chronograph with its green gradient dial is a breath of freshness and understated elegance. The subdued green provides a perfect base for the watch's legibility. Our designer, Mateusz Przystał, ensured the dial's clarity and purity of form.

The watch's dial is housed in a 44mm diameter case. However, in this case, there's no need to worry about its size. Mateusz Przystań has performed a near-magical trick, making the Grey Foka, despite its diameter, fit perfectly even on smaller wrists. He achieved this astonishing effect by reducing the distance between the opposite lugs. The so-called lug-to-lug (L2L) is only 51mm. This parameter has a huge impact on the fact that Grey Seal fits perfectly on every wrist.  

Materials       

The Flying Seal is crafted using high-quality materials. The case and bracelet are crafted from 316L stainless steel, guaranteeing hypoallergenic safety. The Milanese bracelet is woven from steel links. The clasp is secured with an additional clip, ensuring the Gray Seal is very well protected against accidental slippage. The watch face is protected by sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.
