Description
Mateusz Przystał, our lead designer for the Moonfish project, was tasked with creating a "first-choice watch." Completely uncompromising, utilizing the best materials. A timepiece that will serve as a benchmark for quality in design and workmanship for years to come. The Moonfish became a turning point for us. While working on this project, we wanted to step out of our comfort zone and create a small work of horological art.
The first challenge was using 904L stainless steel for its construction. Moonfish is the first watch on the market from a Polish manufacturer to use this type of material. It is significantly more corrosion-resistant. Due to its increased hardness, it is also much more demanding to machine and more expensive than 316L steel, which is standardly used for watch cases and bracelets.
Of particular note in the Moonfish watch is the unidirectional bezel, which has been intricately finished. The multi-faceted cuts on its crown have been designed and executed in an exceptionally refined manner. The result is a surface that is not only beautiful but also practical, facilitating the operation of the bezel ring.
Moonfish is a watch that loves light. All its most important elements were designed so that it could reveal its true face in the sun's rays. The watch dial is blue. Anyone who wears the Moonfish with a blue dial will feel harmony and incredibly positive energy. Fans of Balticus design flourishes will also appreciate the crown design. On its top surface, there is a letter "B" filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova X1 lume—a substance that activates easily and illuminates the entire watch with a pleasant blue glow. The lume fills the hands, indices, and the numerals on the bezel insert. The luminescent substance used is among the world's best and is used by the most famous watch manufacturers. Swiss Super-LumiNova X1 illuminates not only the watch but also the immediate space around it. A characteristic feature of this substance is its durability.
The case back did not escape the attention of the Moonfish lead designer and was designed in a minimalist style. In its center, the name of the watch is placed, appearing to levitate among the stars in the firmament. The only information placed on the case back ring is that regarding the watch's limitation. Moonfish in this configuration, with a blue dial, was produced in a limited edition of only 100 pieces.
Technology
The Moonfish is powered by the Miyota 9015 automatic movement. This is an exceptionally durable and proven design that allows the watch to be wound by wrist movement. The Moonfish offers a 42-hour power reserve and is jeweled with 24 stones. The watch features two complications: a date display and a hacking seconds function.
The watch's water resistance is a definitely above-average 200m. The Moonfish loves water. It performs great during everyday activities. The 20ATM water resistance also allows you to enjoy it while diving and swimming. A characteristic feature of the Moonfish is the screw-down crown.
Dial
The dial of the Moonfish BLT-BTMFGR is a cheerful and deep green. Its perception is enhanced by a sunray finish that plays beautifully with the light, creating a composition of highlights and shadows on its surface.
At the 3 o'clock position, there is a date window finished with a high-polish frame. The minimalist design of this part of the watch is emphasized by the delicate "Balticus" inscription at the top, and the model name and movement type located on the opposite side of the dial.
Materials
Highest quality materials were used to produce the Moonfish. The case and bracelet are made of 904L steel, guaranteeing hypoallergenic safety and increased corrosion resistance. This type of stainless steel, offering an extraordinary luster, is used for watch production by the world's best watch manufacturers. The bezel insert is made of steel and is matte. It perfectly complements the satin-finished side surfaces of the case. The Moonfish dial is protected by flat sapphire crystal, resistant to scratches and covered with a double anti-reflective coating.

Balticus Moonfish - BLT-BTMFBL - Blue
Moonfish

Design: A Symphony of Light
We designed the Moonfish to "crave" the light. Every key element was shaped to reveal its true character under the sun’s rays:
- The Dial: We selected a deep, oceanic shade of blue—the natural habitat for our Moonfish. Thanks to the circular brushing, the dial shimmers like the surface of the water in full sunlight, creating a spectacular play of light and shadow that evokes the serenity of the deep sea.
- The Bezel: Our unidirectional bezel features intricately finished, multi-faceted facets. It’s not just beautiful—it’s designed for a perfect, tactile grip.
- The Crown: A signature Balticus detail—the "B" on the crown is filled with lume, making the brand identity shine even in the dark.

Mastering the Dark: Super-LumiNova X1
Visibility is paramount, which is why we used world-class luminous material:
- Swiss Super-LumiNova X1: This top-tier substance is applied to the hands, indices, and bezel markings. It glows with a powerful, long-lasting blue light.
- Intensity: The X1 grade is known for its incredible brightness, illuminating not just the watch face, but the immediate space around it.

Built for the Deep
While the Moonfish is a piece of art, it remains a high-performance tool:
- Water Resistance: An impressive 200m (20 ATM). Whether it's daily chores or professional diving, the Moonfish is right at home in the water.
- Security: A screw-down crown ensures the movement remains hermetically sealed.
- Crystal: We protected the dial with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal featuring a double anti-reflective coating for perfect clarity at any angle.

Exclusivity and Limitation
We believe in uniqueness. The Moonfish in this green configuration is a strictly limited edition.
- The Caseback: Minimalist and elegant. In the center, the model name appears to "levitate" among the stars.
- The Rarity: Only 100 pieces of this specific version were produced. Your individual limited edition number is discreetly engraved on the caseback ring.
