Balticus Moonfish - Blue

The Vision: Your First-Choice Watch

When designing the Moonfish, we gave our lead designer, Mateusz Przystał, a clear mission: create a "first-choice watch." A timepiece crafted without compromises, using only the finest materials. We wanted to step out of our comfort zone and create a work of horological art that would set the standard for quality and design for years to come. For us, the Moonfish is a true turning point.

Pioneers in Poland: 904L Stainless Steel

We are incredibly proud to be the first Polish watch manufacturer to utilize 904L stainless steel.

  • Superior Resilience: This material is significantly more resistant to corrosion and harder than the standard 316L steel typically used in watchmaking.
  • Exceptional Luster: Because of its density and hardness, 904L steel allows for an extraordinary, high-polish finish that sets our cases and bracelets apart.
  • Hypoallergenic: This premium alloy ensures maximum safety and comfort for your skin, even during long-term wear.

Technology: Reliable Heartbeat

The Moonfish is powered by the exceptionally durable and proven Miyota 9015 automatic movement. We chose this caliber for its reliability and precision:

  • The Drive: An automatic movement that winds itself with the movement of your wrist.
  • Performance: 42-hour power reserve and 24 jewels for smooth, long-lasting operation.
  • Complications: Features a date display and a hacking seconds function, allowing for precise time synchronization.

Design: A Symphony of Light

We designed the Moonfish to "crave" the light. Every key element was shaped to reveal its true character under the sun’s rays:

  • The Dial: We selected a deep, oceanic shade of blue—the natural habitat for our Moonfish. Thanks to the circular brushing, the dial shimmers like the surface of the water in full sunlight, creating a spectacular play of light and shadow that evokes the serenity of the deep sea.
  • The Bezel: Our unidirectional bezel features intricately finished, multi-faceted facets. It’s not just beautiful—it’s designed for a perfect, tactile grip.
  • The Crown: A signature Balticus detail—the "B" on the crown is filled with lume, making the brand identity shine even in the dark.

Mastering the Dark: Super-LumiNova X1

Visibility is paramount, which is why we used world-class luminous material:

  • Swiss Super-LumiNova X1: This top-tier substance is applied to the hands, indices, and bezel markings. It glows with a powerful, long-lasting blue light.
  • Intensity: The X1 grade is known for its incredible brightness, illuminating not just the watch face, but the immediate space around it.

Built for the Deep

While the Moonfish is a piece of art, it remains a high-performance tool:

  • Water Resistance: An impressive 200m (20 ATM). Whether it's daily chores or professional diving, the Moonfish is right at home in the water.
  • Security: A screw-down crown ensures the movement remains hermetically sealed.
  • Crystal: We protected the dial with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal featuring a double anti-reflective coating for perfect clarity at any angle.

Exclusivity and Limitation

We believe in uniqueness. The Moonfish in this green configuration is a strictly limited edition.

  • The Caseback: Minimalist and elegant. In the center, the model name appears to "levitate" among the stars.
  • The Rarity: Only 100 pieces of this specific version were produced. Your individual limited edition number is discreetly engraved on the caseback ring.

Watches that turn ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences, combining elegance with unique design.
