Technology
The heart of the watch is a Japanese quartz movement. We decided to equip this model with a battery-powered movement for the ultimate convenience of the user. This solution guarantees precise timekeeping and requires no winding or resetting if the watch is not worn for some time.
This model is equipped with a chronograph complication. It is a solution for demanding users who want to measure the duration of their bike rides or mountain hikes in the most traditional way. A keen eye will recognize the stopwatch function by the three sub-dials placed on the face. The uniqueness of the timepiece is further highlighted by the domed crystal; thanks to its distinct shape, light entering the watch provides a spectacular visual experience every time.
Glass
The classic character of the watch was achieved through the distinctive shape of the sapphire crystal protecting the dial. It ensures durability and superior scratch resistance while providing the watch with subtle depth and elegance. The domed crystal protrudes significantly above the case, refracting light in various ways as it hits the dial. The interior is coated with an anti-reflective layer, which significantly improves readability in bright conditions.
Case and Materials
The Volans Chronograph features a case made of 316L stainless steel, guaranteeing high resistance to corrosion. Its diameter is a universal 41mm. Our watch also offers an impressive water resistance rating of up to 200m, achieved through the use of a screw-down crown and a screw-down caseback.
The timepiece is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet made of solid links, ensuring exceptional wearing comfort and durability. The high-quality finish is emphasized by the self-adjustment and quick-release systems. This solution allows for a quick, perfect fit to the wrist without the need for a visit to the watchmaker.
Dial
A legible, well-designed dial with subtle details and contrasting chronograph sub-dials defines the character of the watch. The indices and hands were designed for ease of reading in various conditions. The watch also features a date complication, with the date window positioned between the 4 and 5 o'clock indices. To further enhance functionality, both the indices and hands are coated with top-tier Swiss Super-LumiNova X1 luminous material.
